What's wrong with a low-end phone?

I don't understand the bashing of this phone.

If you need a phone with a fast processor, great camera, or high-res screen, this phone isn't for you. LG makes phones like the Nitro for demanding consumers like you who can afford high-end phones.

Some people need a cheap phone more than they need a fast processor. This phone is for them. There will always be a market for very affordable phone.

My point is why are they even bothering with this and calling it the version 2 when they have made no signifigant improvements..
If you're releasing a phone now, it should have ICS on it already. No excuses. Android has notorious fragmentation problems as it is.

Cute

I dont know about this phone. The Processor is kinda lame. You would think that 1ghz processors would be standard for Android phones by now. Also this doesnt sound like a phone that you will be able to get ice cream sandwich on. Looks like a phone that will be going to a pre paid carrier like Virgin or maybe even Boost.
Come on LG. 3.2 screen, 800mhz processor in 2012. Entry level phones should have at least a 3.5 screen and 1ghz processor at this point. That is the problem with android. No minimum standards.

Its not android os fault!

Its the maker of the phone for low quality traits on this device, not the os of this phone (android market)

pros about this phone:
-new users to android, not knowing what to expect
-ppl who don't want all the bells and whistles but a simple phone but with these features
-capability to use a touch screen phone, or not pay a high end price for the device

IF YOU ARE A HUGE ANDROID USER, THIS PHONE IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU AND ID RECOMMEND GETTING A SAMSUNG GALAXY OR SOMETHING ELSE.

I've found--

--that anything less than a 1 GHz processor doesn't run Android anywhere near smoothly. Hell, dual-core processors have problems running Android smoothly.
Tell that to my 600Mhz Samsung Galaxy 550. (Froyo 2.2.2) Runs smoother than my iPod (800mhz - 1ghz), or than my Friends Optimus Black (1 ghz).

LG copies Samsung Conquer

Wow LG! Cant come up with your own design? Had to rip off the Samsung Conquer 4G huh?

Its the EXACT SAME design!
no front facing camera..
also the standard buttons are all due to Android..
It looks different to me. There isn't anything like those silver accents on the Conquer.

Most Android phones are a black slab with just a screen and four buttons at the bottom. If this looks like the Conquer, it also looks like almost every other p...
