Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Hits U.S. Online Retailers
Sony Ericsson today revealed that the Xperia Active Android smartphone is available to U.S. buyers through a handful of online retailers, including Newegg. It costs $339.99, is being sold unlocked, and is compatible with AT&T's 3G network.
Moto's new g-series phones bring up-to-date features, upgraded specs, and clean Google software to three models ranging from $200 to $300. This year's series moves to a notched-screen design, steps up to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, and supports USB-C across the board.

Samsung has slashed the price of its flagship Galaxy S20 5G and Galaxy S20+ phones by $200 at retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, bringing the base configuration of the unlocked phones down to $800 and $1,000, respectively. The top-end Galaxy S20 Ultra is not currently being discounted.

Sony today announced the Xperia 5, a new phone that puts the high-end specs of the Xperia 1 into a smaller form factor similar to the Xperia 10, carrying on the tradition of small, high-power phones such as last year's XZ2 Compact. Like Sony's other 2019 phones, it has an unusually tall, narrow display, allowing the phone to fit a 6.1-inch display into a body only 2.6 inches wide.
