Google has updated the mobile Google Voice application for the Android platform. The new version adds several features, including the ability to send text messages to multiple recipients at a time and improved text messaging notifications. It also can be used to prefetch voicemails so they can be listened to when the device doesn't have a data connection. Google Voice for Android requires Android system software 1.6 and up. The application is free to download.
