BlackBerry 9930 Hits Verizon's Web Site for $249

Verizon Wireless has made the Research In Motion BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 available for sale via its web site. It runs the new BlackBerry 7 platform, and has a touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. It costs $249.99 with a new two-year contract.

$249 for a smaetphone that isn't LTE?!!!?

A smartphone can't be much more of a rip off than this, no LTE, same old BB design, feom a xompany that gas been falling off a steep cliff for the past 18 months.
Not to mention tons of other smartphones at $200 and below do much more than any BB priced above $200.

I don't need to list the Android, Apple, and even Windows or Palm phones that can run circles around this one for a LOT less money. C'mon Blackberry, if you want this thing to move, it has to break the $100 price barrier.
