Apple Responds to Samsung's ITC Complaint In Kind

Apple filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission on July 5 seeking to block the import of certain devices made by Samsung that Apple feels violate its designs and patents. Samsung filed a similar complaint with the ITC last week, seeking to prevent Apple from importing the iPhone and iPad into the U.S. The ITC complaints are the lastest part of an on-going patent battle between the two companies that started when Apple filed a lawsuit against Samsung in April, alleging that Samsung has brazenly copied Apple's products for financial gain. If the ITC agrees to investigate the complaints, a hearing likely won't be scheduled for more than a year.
