RedMagic's New Gaming Phone Comes with up to 24 GB RAM and 1 TB Storage

RedMagic has revealed its RedMagic 8S Pro series of gaming phones in China, with an international version promised later this month. There are no less than 14 different versions available in China, including the 8S Pro and 8S Pro+, multiple "editions" with different color schemes, and multiple memory+storage options. The RedMagic 8S Pro+ Aurora edition is available with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, a world first. Nearly every other spec is best-in-class, including Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, UFS 4.0 storage, 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh and 960 Hz touch sampling, dual haptic motors, RGB lighting effects, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3. The display also features an under-display camera to hide the front camera. The 8S Pro comes with a huge 6,000 mAh battery and 80W fast charging, while the 8S Pro+ has a 5,000 mAh battery and 165W fast charging. Both have a 10-layer cooling system that includes an active cooling fan. Details of the international version will be announced July 18th and it will go on sale July 27th.
