Motorola Droid Bionic Delayed Until Summer

Responding to speculation that its Droid Bionic LTE smartphone for Verizon Wireless had been cancelled, Motorola issued a statement regarding the device's availability. Motorola said that the Droid Bionic, which it originally planned to ship during the second quarter, will instead launch during the third quarter. "Based on compelling feedback since the [Consumer Electronics] show, we are incorporating several enhancements to make this an even better consumer experience." The Droid Bionic was announced in early January.

Damn, I was seriously looking forward to this phone as a replacement to my Droid X. Now gotta wait till the fall, though that might be a good thing, if they can fix what they broke. Whatever that may be.
