U.S. Cellular Rebadges the LG Ally as the LG Apex
U.S. Cellular today announced that the LG APex will be available for sale starting November 19 for $80 after rebate. The Apex appears to be a rebadged LG Ally (sold by Verizon Wireless). It has a 3.2-inch capacitive display with 800 x 480 pixels; a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus, and video capture; Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi and GPS; and supports spoken turn-by-turn directions. The Apex runs Android 2.1 and supports microSD cards up to 16GB.

T-Mobile today announced the pending availability of the T-Mobile Revvl 2 and T-Mobile Revvl 2 Plus (pictured). These low-cost Android phones are rebadged variants of the Alcatel 3 and Alcatel 7, respectively.

Amazon has made the LG Stylo 4, a rebadged variant of the LG Q Stylus, available via its web site as a Prime Exclusive. Prime Exclusives are offered at slightly lower prices than retail and include a variety of Amazon apps and services preinstalled.

Google posted a photo teaser of the next, unannounced Pixel phone today on the official Twitter account for Google's own-brand hardware. It features a large square camera bump that appears to contain three cameras — two large and one small — and a flash.

Google has updated its Maps app with the ability to speak aloud the name and/or address of your destination in the local language when traveling abroad. The feature is designed to be used when hailing a taxi or asking a local for directions.
