Nuance Communications today announced Dragon Dictation 2.0 for iOS4 devices. The new software makes it easier to dictate messages and status updates intended for social networks. It uses a new pop-up tool bar that lets users speak a status update and then send it directly to Twitter, Facebook, as well as the text messaging application or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation 2.0 also has auto-save feature which automatically saves dictated text when the app is interrupted by an in-coming phone call. Last, Nuance indicated that the application supports U.S. and U.K. English, and will soon support German. The application is free from the iPhone App Store for a limited time.

this app...

is very cool. i just downloaded it and messed around with it for about a half hour. it is very accurate and gives the option of correcting mistakes. the only downside is the lack of punctuation.
I said "For a friday, today sucks" and it came up with "Ford fry day toads hay shucks."

And I clearly enunciated. It cant be that great of an app. Although, it was interesting to see what it thought of certain phrases.
