Microsoft Makes SDK Available for Windows Mobile 6.5
Microsoft recently made a new software development kit available for developers interested in writing programs for Windows Mobile 6.5 devices. The SDK includes the tools that will let developers create applications, test them, run emulators and create sample images. The SDK comes in two versions, supporting Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional (touch) and Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard (non-touch). It also comes in a number of languages.

T-Mobile today announced plans to offer three new programs offering 5G service for free to certain groups, or cheaply for everyone else. The company is promising to launch the programs when and if it is allowed to merge with Sprint.

Google today updated its Play Store developer tools, giving app writers more latitude to build and test their apps. To start, the Android App Bundle should allow for downloads that are 8% smaller, and on-device packages that are 16% smaller.
