Google Visual Search Launched as Google Goggles

Google today made its beta visual search tool available for Android smartphones as the Google Goggles app. The app - available today from the Android Market - performs special searches using camera photos as input.

Google ambitions?

Ever wonder what Google's aims are at providing free applications to everyone? Not trying to be some weird conspiracy theorist or anything but I have to say it's kind of unnerving. I use Gmail, Google Calendar, Google maps, and Chrome for browsing. They've taken heat regarding their monitoring on Chrome for starters. I bet they know more about me than my wife does! All kidding aside though, with these new apps they can tell the life story of everyone that uses their full suite of services. Think about the possibilities Android could be capable of when all this information is put to use.
Everyone knows Google's middle name is Skynet.
