Today Apple made a new version of the iPhone firmware available. The free update from iTunes resolves an issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep, resolves an issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart, and fixes a bug that could cause crashes during video streaming.

The Iphone should be called the Yphone!

How is a phone that has been out for 2.5 years and is just now getting the ability to Tether and MMS message considered a revolutionary piece of equipment and now on top of that you have these software problems. It makes no sense whats so ever. Not to mention that the network is so handicapped that allot of what the phone does do it cant because the of the network! I'm not a Iphone or AT&T hater but holy crap if I had a carrier that had a network like AT&Ts and had a piece of equipment that was so far behind I don't care how cool it is I would go some were else. I defiantly wouldn't be on here touting how great my phone is. Yes I have a BB from Verizon which does all of the things that the Iphone does I even have an app that allows me to us...
because the blackberry doesn't have one single problem? either its the phone randomly resetting and your contacts disappearing and you have to take out the battery and wait a few minutes, or its the **** trackball that freaks out and stops working, or...

Thank god

Updating now. On my second 3Gs.

The last OS iteration was as buggy as the amazon. Hope Quicktime works better on varying formats.

May switch to Diamond 2 (HTC Pure) if freezing problems are not resolved or heck maybe AT&T altogether.
