Leap Offers 7 Million Shares for Network Improvements

Today Leap Wireless indicated that it is ready to offer 7 million shares of its common stock. Leap said that the infusion of cash it gets from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes. That will likely include the expansion and improvement of its network footprint, acquisitions of additional spectrum or businesses and the deployment of next-generation network technology for its Cricket wireless services.
