AT&T Goes With Yahoo OneSearch for MediaNet

Today AT&T announced that it will incorporate Yahoo's OneSearch tool into its MediaNet mobile Web site. Searches performed though the MediaNet search bar will now be run by Yahoo.

Yahoo Mobile has launched the ZTE Blade A3Y, an exclusive purple version of ZTE's Blade A3 preloaded with native Yahoo mobile apps such as Yahoo Mail Pro, Yahoo News, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo Weather. The A3Y is essentially the same phone as the Blade A3 Prime offered by Visible and the Z2 offered by Gabb.

Google has announced an update to the Google Maps app with several interesting new features. The augmented-reality Live View feature now works in a search mode to find and show you specific places nearby, instead of just overlaying walking directions during ongoing navigation.

A US appeals court has issued a new ruling declaring that Customs and Border Protection agents can conduct both basic and "advanced" searches of electronic devices at US borders without needing a warrant nor reasonable suspicion. The new ruling overturns a district court decision from January 2020 that ruled such searches unconstitutional.
