Samsung Drops Hints for 2021 Phone Lineup

Samsung's President & Head of Mobile Communications Business Dr. TM Roh published a blog post this week giving broad strokes of what to expect from Samsung's phone lineup in 2021. Roh promised that Samsung will be "expanding our portfolio of foldables, so this groundbreaking category is more accessible to everyone." He also revealed that the Samsung will bring some of the "most well-loved features" of its Galaxy Note phones to other devices in the company's lineup.
The new Motorola edge+ (2023) is the company's newest flagship phone. It builds on the same formula as last year's model when it comes to features, including dual 50 megapixel cameras.

Qualcomm has unveiled the Qualcomm S5 and S3 Gen 2 sound platforms, chips intended to power a range of Bluetooth audio products, including high-end and mid-range earbuds, as well as Bluetooth speakers. The big new feature is Dynamic Head Tracking for Spatial Audio, which maintains the perceived positions of sounds as you move your head.

Google has added a new blog-like "community feed" feature to Google Maps, which highlights "what’s happening in your area" and "makes it easier to discover things to do and places to go". It includes user-submitted photos, reviews, and posts from local experts, posts and updates from local businesses, and articles related to the area from major publishers.

Google has released the first official images of its new foldable phone and confirmed that it will be called the Pixel Fold. The company also promises to release more details about the device during the keynotes at its Google I/O event next week, starting May 10th.
