Review: LG Glimmer

LG has crafted a classy Saturday night phone with a touch screen interface. The Glimmer succeeds at being above average--but not superlative--at most tasks.

This hefty piece of hardware from LG offers the combined benefits of a touch screen user interface with the convenience of an ordinary 12-key keypad. It's also compact, attractively styled, and powerful. What's not to like?

T-Mobile has started selling the CAT S22 Flip, a unique phone that blurs the line between smartphone and flip phone. The S22 Flip has the size and design of a typical rugged flip phone, but its 2.8-inch main display is a touch screen that provides access to the full Android interface, including third-party Android apps.

T-Mobile has officially completed its merger with Sprint. For the moment, the merger has little effect on customers, but "Sprint" lives only as a brand of T-Mobile, not a separate company.

Samsung's third-generation foldable phones are slimmer, lighter, more durable, and more affordable. The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 both feature IPx8 water resistance as well as bodies crafted from a new "Armor Aluminum" material and Gorilla Glass Victus.
