Google has made a beta version of Chrome 50 available to Android, Chrome, Linux, Mac, and Windows devices. Google targeted Chrome's push notifications feature and made improvements to its reliability in weak connection environments. Chrome can now alert web sites when users close or act on notifications for analytics purposes. The browser is also now more efficient at loading certain type of web pages, such as those that require preloads. Chrome 50 includes a large list of developer-focused improvements, as well, including device orientation detection and audio/video buffering. Chrome 50 Beta is free to download from the Google Play Store.
