Verizon Wireless today followed AT&T and Sprint with its own limited big data offering. Beginning October 2, Verizon customers with shared lines can increase their data allotments significantly. Shared lines with 12GB of data can jump to 15GB of data for the same $110 monthly fee. Similarly, the 16GB plan jumps to 30GB, the 20GB plan jumps to 40GB, the 30GB plan jumps to 60GB, the 40GB plan jumps to 80GB, and the 50GB plan jumps to 100GB. Monthly prices range all the way up to $375 for the (now) 100GB plan. Customers who choose Verizon Edge when purchasing or upgrading their smartphone using these promotions, or who bring their own device, can add those phones to More Everything plans for $15 per month in addition to the plan fees. The doubled-data promotion is available until October 31.
