Samsung this fall will launch a phone designed by high-end consumer electronics company Bang & Olufsen (B&O). B&O has designed both the phone's form as well as its menus and sound system. Designed for more conservative, wealthy customers, the phone will feature a simplified interface and few extras beyond voice calling. Nokia already offers a similar line of phones called Vertu made of luxury materials but possessing limited features. The Samsung B&O phone will initially launch in Europe and Russia in the fourth quarter. The companies have not decided whether to launch in the US or if there will be additional models in the future.
