LG to Expand Knock Feature to L Series II Phones

LG today said that it will make its Knock feature available to more of its Android smartphones, beginning with the L Series II devices. Knock, which was first introduced on the LG G2, lets users turn the screen on or off by knocking on it twice with their finger. Knock is also available on the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet and the G Flex smartphone. LG said the update will vary by region.

Sprint today announced that the LG G2 will be available for pre-order beginning October 11, and available for purchase "before the holidays." The G2 will cost $199.99 with a new contract.

They should send that to the nexus 5, it's a cool feature.

LG beat the iPhone on this one. I get tired of pressing the home button to awaken the phone, then pressing the password, or to just look at the time.
