AT&T Looking to Snag Corr Wireless Spectrum and Subs

AT&T filed paperwork with the Federal Communications Commission seeking permission to purchase spectrum and customers from Corr Wireless. Corr is owned and operated by C Spire Wireless. The transaction would give AT&T 10 to 52 MHz chunks of PCS and 700MHz spectrum across parts of Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, in addition to 21,000 customers, and Corr's wireless network assets in those markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the deal must meet regulatory approval before it can be completed.

Hell and No.

Wait...wait...wait a damned minute! How is C Spire (Cellular South) going to play the same game AT&T and VZW have been playing for years? Buy up a mom and pop and them hold onto it and then flip it to a rival... Just goes to show...everyone bad mouths the man while secretly wanting to be the man.
Lets also not forget that C-Spire was alongside Sprint when they were against AT&T buying up carriers like T-Mobile for more spectrum, yet they are more than happy to flip that company and spectrum to them for a price.
