Review: HTC Droid DNA for Verizon Wireless
The HTC Droid DNA for Verizon Wireless is a heck of a phone. The performance of nearly every feature bests the competition.
The display is simply incredible and the quad-core processor generates real-world results in performance and speed. Toss in good performance on Verizon's network, excellent call quality, and good battery life and you have a solid foundation on which HTC builds an excellent smartphone.
The camera functions very well and produces good results. The DNA offers plenty of avenues through which to consume media. And the Sense user interface leaves the use with an abundance of customization options.

Probably my biggest gripe with the phone is HTC's software, which feels more intrusive on the DNA than on other phones. That's a small price to pay, however, for all the good features this phone offers.
The Droid DNA is HTC's best phone yet.
If the "phablet" category of super-phones blurs the line between phone and tablet, HTC is now blurring the lines even more with the Droid DNA for Verizon. With a 5-inch screen, the Droid DNA is notably larger than high-end phones with 4.7-inch screens.

HTC and Verizon Wireless today announced the Droid DNA, a new flagship Android phone with the first full 1080p HD display in a phone for the US. The 5-inch display has 440 ppi pixel density.

HTC recently indicated via its official Twitter account that it plans to update the Verizon version of the One to Android 4.3 by the end of the year and then to Android 4.4 by the end of January. All other versions of the One will receive Android 4.4 by the end of January, too.

HTC today announced its new flagship phone, the HTC U Ultra, along with a smaller version, the U Play. Both phones have a new design with colorful glass on the front and back, and a metal frame.
