for the Nokia 6230i:
6230i - Another Nokia Legend - Excellent device
Purchased in Dec '05, have used for four months and never looked back. Excellent handset. Purchased unlocked, this phone has been my trusted companion since the day it arrived. Syncing with either my PC or Macintosh, this phone allowed me to download my address book, calendars and ToDo lists with little to no issues. Call quality is stellar. Hands down the most powerful phone I've ever owned. Carrier is T-Mobile in Seattle. Used in Puget Sound and E. Washington. Overall, this is ...

for the Samsung MM-A700 / SPH-A700:
Samsung A-700 - I like it .. but....
Pros: * Samsung menu system of which I'm a fan. * Build quality * Sound * Vertical Size - I don't like teeny tiny phones * Looks great, almost elegant * Big and heavy - Can be used as a club * Desktop charger with spare battery slot Cons: * Thick - folded it's a behemoth * Battery life is not as good as other Sammies I've had * Typical big, ugly Sprint antenna * Streaming TV sucks...the previews re-buffer constantly so I've never been motivated to get a subscription ...

for the Nokia 6015i / 6016i / 6019i:
6016i - Excellent value
Pros: Purchased for $150 and is excellent value. The earpiece quality is good but the sound from the headphone jack with a good headset is fantastic. Extremely clear. Excellent reception. Loud ringers. Excellent battery life right out of the box with no conditioning needed. Cons: Only two "ringing" tones, the rest are kinda cheesy midi tones. Typical Nokia menu. Case feels "plasticky". Keypad feels tilted to right and 3,6,9 keys sink further into body than other side. Carrier is Sprint PCS. Purchased ...

for the Sanyo SCP-4700:
A good to great phone
PRO's: Superior voice recognition...the best I've seen on any phone. Very bright display. Speakerphone works very well...callers never knew I was using the speakerphone option. Battery life was average/good. CON's: The display is a bit small...text characters look like an IBM terminal. Reception was not as good as the Samsung N200 I replaced it with. Metal cover felt a bit "delicate"...almost like painted plastic..but never failed or bent. Overall, a good solid phone that never let me down but could have ...

for the Nokia 3395:
A beginners phone
I replaced this phone during my 15 day trial period with Cingular and bought a Nokia 3595. CON's: This phone has the most basic software, reception is average to below average, battery life is mediocre. Speaker distorts on mid-level volume settings. Ring tone selection is below average..nothing seemed to fit. Display washed out in bright light. Time/Date had to be reset after extracting battery. PRO's: Small form factor for those who like smaller phones.

for the Samsung SPH-N200:
This is a great phone!
I would still be using this phone if I hadn't dropped Sprint. PRO's: The software is fantastic. Menu's are well thought out and laid out. Screen is large and easily navigable. Comes with a dual charger so you can be charging a spare battery while using the phone. Also can charge phone and spare battery at same time. Rugged construction, strong flip mechanism, great battery life, batteries replace fast, fantastic reception and power even with the most minimal signal. Should still ...

for the Nokia 3595:
A good, solid color screen phone
I just switched from the 3395 to the 3595 and am very happy with it. PRO's: The reception is better than the 3395. The software, ringers, sound quality, screen clarity and brightness are all top notch. It's clearly superior to less expensive phones but worth the extra cost. The speaker does not crackle under high volume and the ringers can be made very loud. When activated the phone is bright enough to light up a dark room due to the bright ...
