for the Palm Centro 685 (GSM):
Great smartphone
I really like this device. Impressed with its performance so far. Much smaller than the 680. Battery life comarable to the 680.

for the HTC Tilt 8925 / TyTN II:
Big & Heavy & Slow
This is a big, heavy phone. It is slow and at times it stops responding. The touch screen sensitivity is inconsitent. Did I say it was heavy? Wow, this is the heaviest smartphone I've ever held. Couldn't handle it. Took 7 steps to get to an instant message. Wake up Microsoft. Take some lessons from RIM. You need to downsize, streamline and simplify your OS.

for the BlackBerry Curve 8300:
A device that "just works!"
What a refreshing change to buy a phone/pda that just does what it's supposed to do, and does it very well. As a "frequent buyer of PDA cell phones" I can say this is clearly the best I've tried. Pros: Call quality/reception Build quality Excellent battery life Great browser OS runs third party and java programs well Loud ringers and notifications 3.5mm stadard stereo plug Excellent tactile keyboard 2 megpix cam with functional flash Cons: Didn't come with a holster or case

for the Motorola RAZR V3xx:
Best phone available at this time...
I have tested and used the Samsung Sync, SE 810i, and several WM5 devices. The v3xx beats all current phones for call clarity (no warble effect), very strong RF signal, very loud ear piece. Fast UI and revamped phonebook and software. Extremely fast 3G when used as a modem with easy configuration. Moto has a winner in this phone.

for the Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607:
Best WM5 Smartphone available...
Great phone with good volume in both earpiece and ringtones. You forget it's in your pocket, it's so thin. Many complain about the battery. There are a lot of factors that affect this. Many people giving this phone low ratings do not understand what a smartphone is or what does, and how to manage that to get the best battery life. On most smartphones, your going to have to charge more often than a ...

for the Nokia 6101 / 6102:
6102 is a very good/solid phone
Best flip phone I've owned in a while (including my Razr). Not sure why all the hype over the audio. I think it's fine. Reception is what's very noticeable. Hardly any garbling when I'm talking to others. Internet is fast. Only reason I give it a 4.5 is lack of bluetooth.
