for the BlackBerry 8703e:
I will miss the 8703e
I ordered this phone one day after it showed up on Verizon's Website 9-18-06. It arrived two days later and I was totally impressed. Coming from the 7230 (T-Mobile), which I desperately needed to upgrade from, It was a dream come true. Unbelievable reception, nice data, the clearest conversation and no dropped calls!... Except one thing. IT WOULD NOT SYNC WITH MY MAC! I sent the 8703e back to Verizon for that reason only, but to my surprise, On 10-2-06 ...

for the Nokia 6255i / 6256i:
First Flip, Last Mistake
The Nokia 6255i is loaded with great features, such as: Bluetooth, voice recording, video recording, camera with built-in flash, a scheduled (weekly) alarm chart, some pretty entertaining games and last but not least, that user-friendly interface that us nokia users all know and love. What I don't like about this phone is that it's cheap! And I don't mean it's price! The silver reflective trim around the mini-display, which reads "NOKIA" will start to flake away after 8 to 9 ...

for the Nokia 6600:
The Nokia 6600 Will Survive!
This phone has taken me through my best experience with Nokia so far. I'll start with the negatives (every phone has negatives), which wont take long: It could be louder and It power-cycles itself periodically That's it! The second day I had this phone, some idiot caused my phone to drop into a plastic cup of ice water! The 6600 immediately shut itself down. I took it apart and let it dry for an hour or two. Back in business! ...

for the Samsung SGH-R225 / SGH-R225M:
Cool Blue Screen! No Other Redeeming Qualities
This phone was my introduction to Samsung. Too bad it was an awful one. The menu and buttons were no problem to get used to since I came from a Nokia 8290. All of my problems with this phone revolved around the sound. When driving, people could barely hear me over the road-noise, which seemed to drown out vocals until I came to a complete stop. Another problem was when people called in, they could sometimes hear my surroundings ...

for the Nokia 3390:
A Basic Reliable Phone, But That's It
In my opinion this phone is very reliable and durable. It's a very stripped down phone, but does the trick if you just want to communicate. I found the reception on this phone to be pretty decent as well. The only thing that I didn't like about this phone was the way Nokia set keys. I will always HATE the multifunction button located directly beneath the screen of this phone. My first Nokia was the 6190, which made perfect ...

for the Nokia 8290:
There's a reason this phone is discontinued
Nokia is my favorite cellphone maker, but they really dropped the ball on this phone. Only one thing screwed them. THE SCREEN! I must have done 4 handset exchanges before ending up with a red model, which I liked. After a few months the screen went bonkers again, then blank. I finally had to give up and go to a 3390 (very solid phone), but I'll always miss the size of this phone. At least there's the 3100. ...
