No, but it would seem to be the only way to view tv, without losing my subscription. It really burns me, because I'm going shopping with my wife today, and I'd love to watch the Yanks game on a bench while she goes from store to store.

V Cast v. Slingbox
Just wanted to know why Verizon will allow you to stream video if you pay for their V Cast, and will terminate your existing number if you use a third party like Slingbox.

Prety funny how you can now watch TV through Verizon's network, if you purchase THEIR service. I thought the network couldn't handle streaming video?

That's not our problem that they can't handle the usage, it's theirs. Don't say unlimited. And probably the only reason they get so offensive about it, is because their angry we're using someone else's services, which they know they can offer, they just don't feel like releasing it yet. Again, it's just big business not allowing the individuals to control capitalism. They want the control us. I am sure all of these services are ...

I have absolutely had it with big business limiting our ability to utilize services they claim to provide. There has got to be a way for us to get full use of our service. To me this is the same as Verizon limiting the Q's Bluetooth capability to headsets only. Wireless is wireless, not just for headset, but for all data transfer.
