I've owned this phone for almost 4 weeks now (pushing my 30-day return window) and my phone has started to randomly.....well...not work. It's as if the "radio" has been turned off without warning. Outgoing I tried to make a call yesterday and after hitting the talk button.........nothing. No dialing, or ringing, or anything...just dead air. I tried calling a different number but same thing.....nothing. I had to reboot the phone to be able to call out. Incoming I also missed an important incoming ...

BT Stereo Headphone Suggestions

I need to buy a pair for my wife since the wired ones that come with the phone won't stay in her ears. What are your suggestions for a good set of BT Stereo phones? Also, has anyone seen a jack converter to 3.5mm for this phone yet? Thanks for your help! Mike

I bought 2 of these (one for me and one for the wife) and the local store gave me an extra $50 off each phone. So, with 2-year contract after rebates....$100 a phone. This phone rocks too!!!

Hey Jake, I tried that, but the NEXT button at the bottom of the page was greyed out and I couldn't seem to activate it. My bad though. I wasn't complete filling out the email address field (for a really dumb reason). When you fill it out completely, it activates the NEXT button. DUH! Thanks for getting me to take another look at it. Pop3 Disabled???

Just picked up two new 3125's this weekend and still getting used to the Mobile5 setup. One of the reasons I bought this phone was for the POP3 Email, but it would appear it's been disabled (by Cingular?), as well as the ability to Add a New Meggaging platform. According to the Owners Manual (pdf), there should be a 4th option called POP3 at StartMessaging, right after Text, Outlook and MMS. There is no 4th option! Additionally, when I ...

Personalize Desktop?

Can you edit the desktop configuration of this phone (i.e. delete icons that you don't use, move them around, clean it up, etc.)? I'd like to be able to move the most used icons to the first scroll sceen and bury ones I'll never (or rarely) use and I'm wondering if that's possible. Only 7 days left on the ol' Sprint contract and I'm chompin' at the bit to buy this phone! Also, I heard Cingular makes you buy the $20 data ...

Is there any backlighting on the keypad/numbers on this phone? If not, does the display light them up enough to dial in the dark? Thanks!

Actually, I could have worded that better. What I meant as far as data transfer was Web, Chat, Multimedia, etc. Thanks.

I have been web shopping for a new cell phone for about 5-6 weeks now and it’s come down to this phone. Previously I’ve used a cell phone to make phone calls (imagine that) and send a few text messages. Now, however, I’d like to be able to use it to IM, pick up web-based mail, web browse (a bit) and maybe do some Pop3 (which I understand Cingular has disabled), but I’m new to these technologies ...
