oHHHHH, please share that phone#, I need some comedy
Best Buy website says UNIVERSAL unlocked
This means super SKU but there is no way, anyone know the bands?
Who is the lucky OEM this time? EYE ROLL
I admire TMO for doing this program still
Re: Looks Familiar
Stylo 5 has a Snapdragon 450 at least, compared to the 4 and its crappy Mediatek, so you got that going for you, which is nice.
RAM and chipset?
If there is no B71 then you cant say you support TMO/METRO...also a classic move adding channels, unlikely to move the needle in terms of volume if the carrier doesnt support it....nice going...(EYE ROLL)
Re: "I guess that's why call it the BLU's"
that's because OTA updates take time and resources, something an ODM like BLU/TINNO doesn't have...they are too busy working on the new models, the other thing I don't like is the crappy US band support but again, they just rush these models in so fast and don't worry about long term brand image
What "FOCUS" on design?
Looks like a normal Chinese phone to me
Wiko is part of Tinno, also based in China. No one wants to be from China these days.
Re: First Alcatel Phone
agree on the strategy Verizon really seems to be lowering their standards...first they launch a crap Orbic prepaid phone from a no name Reliance Communications (who uses an ODM) and now this Alcatel ...SMH at BIG RED
No different from banks charging to go into the bank
Alot of Banks are doing this, makes sense, McDonalds will have robots taking your order in 15 years.
Now hear this....no one cares about BB anymore
Re launching the same phone with a new color and new storage...this all points to a failed business...i give them 6 months
Just a hunch...
This is a ZTE product, so I am guessing this is not a new development but probably a re work from a product that VERIZON was going to directly source, and when the whole government issues came down, then VERIZON bailed on it...no way VERIZON had anything to do with this?
Wow this device must be an incredible failure...
I would put this up there with the Pet Rock for dumb ideas... These will end up in a landfill like the Atari ET video game
The article states A20 has US LTE friendly bands, so probably will be a replacement for A6
Hanging on by a THREAD...
What is a sign of a company that is desperate? "Lets make the same phone but just change the color...yeah that will do it." Done by end of 2019, book it.
Huge in Belgium too...
PFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT.......Who gives 2 CRAPS about Norway?
this was no accident
I love the PR folks BS!! LEAK WAS INTENTIONAL...DUH
MEDIATEK IS TRASH
No No a THOUSAND TIMES No...
Looks like another whim will result in a failure, don't see this gaining ANY traction. BTW, I think one of the owners is John Paul DeGoria(sp) and he might as well go back and keep selling tequila and paul Mitchell hair spray.
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT...
The VZW promo says that you must remain active for 45 days but goes on to say they have the right to charge back the $150 if you disconnect within 6 months...most customers who buy BLU devices are not going to stay on that long.
Not sure why VZW would take a chance on an unknown brand like this? Must have LG and others really mad!
TOO EXPENSIVE AND TOO NICHE
SORRY will not sell
they will literally sell 12 units
Wow you mean the Lifeline guys are DIRTY??
SHOCKER!! (heavy sarcasm)

Will it let me remove the SPAM and SPYWARE TOO?
Like all Chinese OEMs do?
Well known what these "CHINESE" OEMs are doing...
Having had visibility to what types of "tactics" these companies use...their margins are already thin, so they use the US market to send updates to the phone that have ADS and SPAMWARE, then collect funds on those devices! BAD STUFF!
Re: What Case?
That is an inaccurate statement "The company sells devices at a lower price (still more than they purchase them from the OEM" They sell the devices for a subsidized price that is LOWER than the OEM price to the carrier.
You had me until you said Mediatek
NOPE NO WAY NOHOW
Will sell some due to early adopters but will never knock down the DUAL OPLY and oh by the way, one of those is now a TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY! I smell a major FLOP cooking...
Wonder what the "real" reason is? Too high of wholesale data charges ? Not willing to move to all VoLTE devices?
SO yeah there was this other popular thing called YOUTUBE
GO90 never had a chance
Re: "Support for AT&T" is......
Because AT&T cares about the quality of the devices on their network...why should One Plus get a free pass to have all of these services work perfectly when they have not paid the hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs of certification? It works perfectly on TMO because the same standards are not required... This is no accident
Re: NOT A SUPER SKU
TRUE but VZW requires the device to be certified...so.... the serial# will not be loaded on Verizon's network so data will work due to band 13 but you wont be able to make and receive calls
NOT A SUPER SKU
UNTIL the retailers shut this down because of government pressure
I will bet $1000 that these will only end up on Amazon and not US retail stores.
Good luck with these
Sorry Sony, don't have a chance in unlocked when there are so many other more affordable options. This company is huge and has the money to play around with mobile but they are just wasting their time.
Re: What’s so specia?
I see them changing up the offers all the time, seems desperate and obviously having a hard time competing for dealer doors and customers.
