I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I CANT SEEM TO FIND ANY OPTION THAT ALLOWS ME TO TURN THE FLASH OFF. IT ONLY HAS AUTOMATIC AND REDUCE RED-EYE. I HAVE THE K790A NOT K800I IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

i got it for cingular two days agd it works like a charm..better call quality than previous w810 and excellent camera !
