Can camera on Audiovox 8910 be disabled?

I keep turning on the camera of my Audiovox 8910 phone accidently in my pocket every time I fart or I bend bend over. Then when I go to use it I find the camera on and the battery near dead. Is there anyway to disable the camera on button on the outside of the phone so this won't happen? Please help!
