I was originally going to have a friend get a cingular plan and buy the v3i then give him my phone but since it doesnt seem cingular will ever get this phone I see there are links to buy v3is online unlocked... What is the difference? what will I need to do to use this phone? Just swap a sim card or is there more to it then that. Will the itunes feature work on this phone? I don't ...

Yeah well the phones match the service I guess. I have always been partial to samsung. I don't know why. My phones on cingular are all samsung and I love them. It's all just prefference though.

V3i or V3x?

Do you think it is worth waiting for the V3x? I just passed my point on my contract and I got my $300 downpayment back. I am considering getting a V3i. It looks really sweet. But is it worth holding out for the V3x? I know arround here the 3g network is basically nonexistant... And ive heard many complaints about the phones holding onto week 3g signals instead of just using a gsm signal. It may be different by ...

One is a Sanyo 8300 in red. I hated it. The menu looks cheap and it has this stupid dancing bear or kangaroo or something. The other is a samsung a740, the third is an older nokia 3585i. I got them when I worked at radio shack(terrible place to work) But yeah. They are in great shape I just was very unhappy with sprints service. So if anyone is intereste maybe we can talk.

Just wondering if there is any company anyone knows of who will buy used phones. I had a 3 line sprint contract for about 2 months and canceled it and switched to Cingular so I have 3 sprint phones just sitting here doing nothing. They are in fine shape I just hated sprint. If anyone knows any links or anything it would be appreciated.

I say do what serves you best depending on where you live. Where I am someone having a verizon phone is unheard of. Cingular service here is amazing. I've never had a single dropped call. But if the service there is bad go for it. I don't think Verizon will ever have service here. I think it would be pointless. Maybe you just have junk phones. I have a Samsung I love it. Even when I had sprint(never ...

Re: T-mobile coverage EQUIVELANT to Cingular

T-mobile just sucks. They have the most annoying commercials in the world. Phones? Who wants a sidekicked so it can get hacked over there network. I've had sprint, cingular, and verizon. Sprint is a joke in my opinion, verizon is ok, but I love my cingular phone. Tmobile has terrible coverage I don't care what a map says I know people that have it and they get really bad coverage where I have 5 bars. I wish cingular ...

I purchased a p207 last monday. One of the new ones not recalled. I love it. Does anyone know how to change the default text message setting. It always goes to t9 and I have to change it before every message I send. There has to be a way to do this does anyone know how?
