Hop on EBay and you can get a BRAND NEW one from EBay user "import-gsm" for $849.99 plus S/H. I just bought an MDA Pro from him. He specializes in high end, cutting edge phones. The N91 looks pretty cool....maybe worth the $850!! :) Todd

The WCDMA (UMTS) band that the new 3G handsets are offering are really only handy when you are in Europe where the 2100MHz band is used for public cellular handsets for super-high-speed data. Close to 400Kbps speed. But, in USA that frequency band is taken by gov't agency and inaccessible to the public. An EBay user named "import-gsm" has a few in stock on ebay. I ...

So, in fact, you are NOT in the cold...and considering that Cingular and T-Mobile have a cost-free roaming agreement, if you have Cingular you STILL can use a GSM 1900 phone, not to mention Cingular started off with GSM1900 - it wasn't ...

fonCall said: No North American GSM operator is going to carry this phone since it doesn't have GSM 850Mhz. My response to that: What band does TMobile run on? 1900 and 850? NOPE! JUST 1900. While I think that is a SHAME, it is true, and they still sell phones which are tri-band (900/1800/1900) so your reasoning is wrong. However, since this phone is a niche, low-on-gizmos unit I doubt anyone will ...
