The battery life is unacceptable uless you work at a desk job and can charge the thing during the day. I have never seen a bigger piece of sh@$! Palm/Cingular should get sued in a class action suit for even releasing this thing. It is a great phone..but you cannot use it.

The Treo 750 Battery life sucks worse than the Blackjack. I have had both phones. I bought the unlocked 750 and Blackjack and tested both on Cingular. Without even using the 750 the battery dropped below 50% in about 3/4 a day without use except every hour e-mail checks. The BJ's battery seems alright but today is the first full day of use. I have noticed that battery life pretty much sucks with all windows mobile devices. I had the KJAM/8125/QTEK9100 and Moto MPX before and none of them were good on battery life in comparison to a palm device. I have both the Treo 750v and the Blackjack. The 750 has a slightly better feel in the hand as compared to the blackjack. They could have done a better job with both phones but it seems that the people who make these phones just cannot figure it out. I will bet you that this phone does not have video recording as I have it in my hand this very second and have been using it since March...It does not have video. It will play videos in Windows Media player nicely but it will NOT record video unless there is some trick to make the camera record that I am not aware of. Take care.

I got it through E-Bay but I would be careful as I almost got burnt doing it that way the first time. Make sure that you ask for digital images of the phone withb some identifier like the persons e-mail address, time, date etc. Make sure you only pay by paypal b/c there are several fake adds running on E-bay. Some of the fakes even say that you can use paypal but then will not except ...

Well, the battery only lasts about 6-8 hrs if you are using the PDA regularly during the day. If you have the opportunity to charge your MPx during the day then this is no problem. Right now I am doing some research and have the opportunity for a charge during the day so I have no problems right now. However, for me, I am a physician, when I take call I sometimes go non-stop for 36-48 ...

I bought mine on E-bay...Quite expensive but this phone rocks if you have the proper firmware and your expectations are not way overboard. I mean this phone has more power than my college computer and people are complaining about it. I admit there are problems with the phone...probably the battery is truly the biggest problem..but no other phone out there even comes close to the functions of this phone and it is one of the smallest PDA ...
