Phone Home said:
S4 Active is not Mil-Spec. Note even close. Dropping this 5" unprotected screen on concrete from 1.2 Meters will equal cracked screen or internal electronic failure.
Intelligent folks will put an Otterbox on the device and whether or not the phone is mil-spec will be moot.
Furthermore, I believe that a Marine Gunnery Sergeant knows what mil-spec is and is not.
Re: A Tendency that I have seen...
I've been a Verizon customer for over a decade and I have no plans to move on, but I do get tired of this, "It's for your own good," crap.
They pulled this when they wanted to put a data plan on every phone that could access the internet, saying that, "It would prevent any surprises on the bill."
The carriers now have us all by the boys.
Why can't they just be honest, instead of treating us all like children.

Verizon customers can expect the Premium Suite in the Fall of 2015, just after the SGIII JB update!

why the one on my Blackberry hasn't been working. I've also note in the last couple of days that my battery has been draining precipitously, so the widget resident on my phone has probably been calling home continuously since they shut it down.
I used to love Verizon. Now, they're just another necessary evil.
Re: What a rip off plan though..
I'm retired, so when I'm not at home, I'm busy enough that I really don't have time to futz around with a phone. Sometimes, however when I out with friends and some debate pops up or I just am curious about something, I'll go online to get the answer.
My BB Bold 9650 has rarely let me down and I have never used more than a third of my whopping 150MB plan.
I have no use for social networks and ...
