HAHA! Really? AT&T, you need to get larger cities covered first. Most people who live in Lawrenceburg are retired and don't even know what a Smartphone is. It's still 2 hours away from Nashville anyway, closer to Alabama.

T-Mobile has spectrum it's not using. Verizon hasn't used it YET because there is no point in building it out for half the country and not the other half. T-Mobile just doesn't have the money to build it out if they even had it.

They would use it, they just won't start building it until it is needed (like when Voice over LTE is out next year). Also, phones don't need it right now. Wait until they can make sure they can build it out nations wide and for battery life to improve before putting it in phones.

So in larger cities when the 700MhZ spectrum gets full, people can fall back to the AWS spectrum for LTE. This will be handy when Verizon launches Voice on LTE.
