...any news about the release? This will be the first Verizon phone with pocket PC capabilities working in USA and Europe. Worth waiting for....but how long?

Thanks! I paired my Samsung i730 yesterday and so far it works like a charm. I have not transferred the phone book, however.

I am planning to buy an i730 and I own a Prius. Has anyone been able to establish a working bluetooth connection between the two? Lexus has the same BT settings as the Prius, so, for any Lexus owners that have done this, I would really appreciate some help and guidance. Thanks!

It must be a Samsung problem. I have an i600 and it does exactly the same thing.

I believe that Prius and Lexus use the same phone system. Would this work with a Prius?

Does it give any specifics about which OBEX protocols are permitted? See my message (under michalopoulosgk) in this message list. The Verizon site states that not all OBEX protocols are supported. Does it mention anything about connecting with cars equipped with Bluetooth phone connections? (Interested in Prius). Thanks for providing us with this information.

From the website announcing i730 for Verizon: http://www.vzwshop.com/samsungi730i nfo/ at the footnote, and in relation to Bluetooth,it states: "It does not support all profiles for object exchange (OBEX)." Does this imply that some are supported and some are not? Or, that all OBEX protocols are not supported? Very confusing!

I am interested in buying a BT equipped cellular phone to connect it with my Prius car. Do you know if Verizon has modified the BT in any way?
