I work for t-mobile and the reason for the 2 year agreement has been changed to accept this new standard. That signing a 2 year agreement doesn't entitle you to a discount or subsidized price on a device. what you are signing is a "2 year commitment" to stay with t-mobile to get the best price possible on any carrier that is not prepaid bassed and still drives inovation of technoligy and brings up to date phones to the ...

UGGG!!! Do you understand what this whole at&t t-mobile merger is?? It will take a LONG time for this to get approved...about a year IF this even goes through. Do you expect t-mobile just to lay on its back and just give up and wait?? Both company’s are still competition with each other and Verizon and sprint. If t-mobile decided to just stop making there service better you think its customers will be ok with it? I mean like ...

As long as this is a quad band 3G phone you will have no problem when/if this merger takes place. The problem will be when at&t-mobile create a LTE network then you will most likely need to buy a new phone. Exactly like Verizon now. only one phone can get the 4G network while joe somebody who just got his Iphone 4 the week before 4G launched is stuck on 3G for the life of his phone...

I dont know what your talking about. I work for at&t and I still, to this day, see Cingular grandfathered rate plans. Now if you or whoever decided to upgrade to a smartphone or a better rate plan of course you would be subject to different terms... New deals require new plans...
