Re: sanyo 5400 (RL2500)
I used my 5400 as a modem with my laptop in Jacksonville last week... My connection speed was the same as it was with my N400 (WindowsXP reported 230KBps). Now as to speed of downloading pages, it did seem to be slighlty (not very noticeable) slower pulling up graphic intensive pages. I can't complain though.

Re: phones b4 the holidays?
I have been checking our computers daily (Radio Shack) to see when the 5500 is added, but nothing yet. I doubt that it is coming anytime soon. I keep hearing that it probably won't be until January '04.
Re: 7200 (RL2000) & other PTT Phone availability
RS started shipping the 7200 and 5400 to stores this week. The store I work at received them last night (5 of each). The date is actually the 16th.
Re: PTT CONFIRMATION???
RS will have two PTT phones within the next week (RL-2000/17-2587 and RL-2500/17-2586). The RL-2000 is the Sanyo 7200 and will sell for $299 with a $150 rebate. The RL-2500 will also sell for $299, I think it is the same as the Sanyo 5400.
RL2000 - = SCP7200
This phone will be called the SANYO RL-2000... It was added to the Radio Shack database within the last couple of days. The RS catalog number is 17-2587 and will be sold for $299.99.
You access the phone at the www.radioshack.com by typing the catalog number into the search.
Another phone was added to the database Friday night called the Sanyo RL-2500PTT (catalog number 17-2586) and also has a price of $299.99.
RS shoud have the phones in stock within the ...
Re: Sanyo customer support
