Re: Why?
The U.S. is far from being the only market for cell phones. Sony sells very, very well in other countries.
Re: Apple Intros Four 5G iPhones
my bad, read that first post wrong. I'd wait if I were you, unless you have an old phone.
Re: Apple Intros Four 5G iPhones
If you have 5G in your area, yes. If you don't, no. So far, 5G is just a years long unfulfilled promise. I live in Phoenix, 6th most populated city. 5G is available at one stadium downtown and they claim "5G is here!" Hard pass.
Re: $2000!!
If you can't afford it, don't buy it. Simple. Quit expecting new phones, with all their advancements, to remain at $300.
Intriguing
I only wish Microsoft had kept their own OS. It was a massive breath of fresh air compared to Android and iOS. Running Android is a deal killer for me, i'll stick with buttery smooth iOS.
Re: .
I"m not sure you understand the definition of enormous. These are tiny wireless earbuds that fit inside the opening of your ear. Because you can see them that makes them "enormous"?
Re: Samsung Galaxy Fold
say what?
Re: No 5g radio
Because there is no 5g service besides at a couple of football stadiums. It's just as useless in the S10 as it would be in the new iphone.
Re: It’s Actually 12.4 Beta 5
Funny because when I downloaded it, it was iOS 13 beta.
Re: The standard retail price is $820
Remember when the “great Nokia” you’re referring to was only able to make phone calls and text? I do.
Re: "True 5G"
Except that sentence was written by the phonescoop employee, nothing to do with AT&T, so just a minor issue with your logic.
Re: What on this phone
luckily they have enough "fanboys and fangirls" to make it one of the most valuable companies on the planet. Better luck next time.
Re: Master of None
Cool story, bro.
Re: Iphone OS slows older iphones
I concur, I prefer not being stuck with Android period.
Re: This can not stand....
I suggest you move to Venezuela since you seem so opposed to capitalism. Let us know how that works out
Re: Beware the glass back
design flaw? If you drop anything around your house it's possible it could break. I don't recall Apple stating the phone is unbreakable.
"My car fender will be smashed from someone hitting me at 2 mph. This would be a design flaw"
Re: This can not stand....
lmao...bc the $930 Note 8 is SOOOOOOO much cheaper and more affordable. How DARE Apple!!!
Re: Face ID
not only unlocking the phone, but i use Touch ID for a ton of apps, including my bank. Not having it is gonna suck.
Re: Hrm...
I, along with Samsung and the rest of the world are waiting with bated breath. I CANNOT wait to find out if you are going to bite or not. Please inform us as soon as reasonably possible if you are going to bite on this or not. Samsungs quarterly reportings and the future of the free world just may depend on it.
Re: LOL
I don't need advertising or companies telling me who is or isn't fast and reliable. I've had all the networks over the years and Sprint is 4 out of 4 for a reason. If they were as great as you are implying they are, people would be flocking to them, especially with the Amazon deal. Why is this not happening? Facts my friend....facts. Sprint sucks. And no matter how you try to spin it, they still suck and you ...
Re: LOL
huh?
Re: Yep!!
lol. you mean 100 kbps. Lay off the crack pipe....100 mbps, lol...i'm still laughing.
Re: Gboard wins over Word Flow
I don't want a concerted effort. Word Flow is already out and Gboard is in. Grave error in judgment on Microsofts part.
Re: LOL
They don't need to, sprint is # 4 out of 4. Why would they waste ad dollars? And "in the courtroom"? No idea what that means. No one can sue because their phone is slow. Its pretty common knowledge that Sprint is atrocious anyways, so hard to sue with that reputation.
You must be one of those annoying sprint salesman hanging out around the front of the Sprint store at malls bothering people walking by with your intrusive "hey ...
LOL
Sprint reeks of desperation. I feel sorry for anyone who has to suffer with their horrendously slow data speeds. Are they also giving out free AOL discs so that you can sign up with AOL dial up service?
Gboard wins over Word Flow
The major difference i've noticed between Word Flow and Gboard is that Word Flow does not have cuss words enabled when swiping. This is an absolute deal killer. I thought after typing a word in a few times that Word Flow would begin to memorize my words and learn but, nope.
Gboard blows Word Flow outta the water already. Who doesn't cuss? Nothing more frustrating that trying to type a cuss word and some crap predictive word pops up ...
Re: Unlocked Version
rooting is a huge pain, plus it voids the warranty.
Re: I wish.....
I want speed so I can watch things on my phone without constant buffering. Which is exactly why I don't have sprint.
Re: Trolldom at its Finest
you must be on sprint, lol. enjoy rubbing two sticks together while everyone else is running around with a Zippo.
Re: Phablet Phase?
I guess that's why we have choices. If you want a 5.7 inch phone, they are available. I don't want a phone that big. I've always said 5.3 is a sweet spot. So I guess we can both be happy, I can get my 5.3 in phone and you can go find a 5.7 in phone.
Re: what a scam
Now I'll throw some numbers at you. Years ago you could get the new iPhone on contract for $200, maybe $300 tops with a 24 month contract. Now, either you pay $900 up front or "lease" the phone for up to 30 months with AT&T, and pay $900 for the phone. But somehow, these phone companies have ditched contracts and its better for the consumer. Yay! Please explain how this is better for the consumer and how these ...
Re: what a scam
ANY throttling is not unlimited, PERIOD. Completely misleading advertising. I live in Phoenix, 6th most populated city in the U.S., please tell me the times when a "tower I'm on is NOT congested".
what a scam
The catch is, it locks you into your contract with Directv. If you ever decide to leave Directv, you lose the phone plan. Also, it clearly states on their website that you will be throttled after 22GB of data. That is not unlimited. Misleading advertising wins again. Should be advertised as a 22GB plan for $100 along with a continuous Directv contract. NOTHING is ever in the consumers favor.....NOTHING! Please read the fine print and between the lines people.
Re: Wow...77 Whole Markets
lol, its definitely NOT working. Sprint is atrocious. It may work for people living in HIckory Stick, Arkansas, but 5 kbps download speeds are not acceptable to those of us in major cities. I will never have Sprint, but I love to laugh at people who do.
Re: T-Mobile Band 2 LTE
This is a Windows version of the phone, no one cares about Android. Hence, everyone is ignoring you and you have no responses.
Re: My thoughts on the Note 4
Luckily we have choices. I think 5.1 is way too small. If I wanted that small of a phone I would get an HTC One M8 or Lumia Icon. I think 5.5 or 5.7 is the right size. I also think iOS is a much better operating system than Android.
See what happened there? I disagreed with everything you had to say. I get what I want and you get what you want. Opinions are like a-holes. I just want ...
Re: I love seeing WP news
Interesting....i made the switch last December after years of iOS and Android and I couldn't be happier. I guess you're one of those who just can't live without their 4th party weather app. I've been completely happy and impressed with WP.
Re: This has gone way too far.
If I remember correctly, you also swear by the Samsung Galaxy. So....hard to take your opinion seriously, lol.
One downfall
Looks like there is one major downfall with this. It's on Sprint. So that makes it basically a useless brick.
LOL
LOL @ "service disruptions associated with the company’s ongoing network overhaul." I believe that's been going on for about 10 years now. Still waiting to hear about the promised WIMAX in Phoenix, 6th most populated city in the U.S. Let's get SPARK up and running in Waukegan, Illinois before Phoenix, that will make excellent business sense!!! LOL @ sprint and their poor customers.
