Re: BB
when they made a touch screen POS. (not point of sale) STORM was just that a storm, nightmare, and headache. now nobody wants to touch software for the device because it will make it even sloooooooower. but the good news is there are so many other way better devices out there. even Samsungs eternity.
Time to get a real phone
Re: I wonder...
WOW is right! Its going to be awesome to see some phones that will compete with the I-phone. though a good phone it is not the end all to phones. though I do like the ideal that its based on a "linux" system for developers.
Re: Voice of Reason
the original date of DTV was July 2006 and the stations did not take it serious. So now they have had 3 years and people still aren't ready. people do not change unless forced to.
LETS FORCE THEM TO CHANGE. WHO DOESN'T WANT GOOD TV SIGNAL
Re: AT&T comes in last again....
hey if there last but support 3g i will be happy. maybe maybe att needs to contact there cingular people and ask them how to do business. HAHA
Re: UH OH!

Re: This is another point from AT&T
la who za her....thank you Jim Carey
Re: This is another point from AT&T
Any text sent from AT&T is free no matter what the promotion was or is. and yes AT&T still owns the right send free text to any phone that they choose. There is no law or ordinance against them from doing this. If there was then a company like AT&T would not of done it silly. /;|
Re: This is another point from AT&T
You are like every other person on this website that complains about everything and is full of hate..If AT&T wants to send a free email out to its customers let them. If you don't want text then call customer service and BLOCK THEM. Why not use there impressive network of customers to promote what they choose to.
FREEDOM OF BUSINESS
MONEY
Looks like another way to make more money off of the end user. GREAT IDEA...
Re: who cares?
A WEBSITE THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK....IDIOT
Re: I feel bad, But?
Agreed as well. I get sick of everyone complaining always and not listening to the many warnings. Its not that they cant have TV its that they won't get it for free. go pay full price for your converter and continue to save the money that you aren't spending on cable/satellite.
reminds me of the siemens
this phone reminds me of the siemens sx66. great design but terrible phone!!
Whats Next
Will computer replace hard drives with flash drives? it would be great to be able to have a fast hard drive with raid set up to back up to a flash drive.
Now we can have map programs such as garmin loaded on a memory card instead of downloading on the go with programs such as telenav.
Interesting
Re: Amazing
Well I started this post to be happy that apple and ATT finally offering this for the IPHONE. there are a lot of good phones out there that will support sling and orb but its exciting to hear that now the iphone will.

Amazing
I just installed my slingbox yesterday after playing with a buddies on his Bold I had to go purchase one. As a Iphone user I knew it wasn't available but was excited that it may be in the near future.
This announcement made my day. I don't believe that there could be a better device to watch to on then the i phone.
Thanks Sling Media for making a great product
Re: About time...
Yes this is a great ideal. I read a bunch of the postings on there and it seemed like most people are commenting how to improve an already existing app they offer.
LETS SEE SOME NEW APPS NEW IDEALS AND NEW CONCEPTS PEOPLE
But over all I am real excited to see what the site brings.
Re: Why? Horrible Idea
You say this like accident don't happen and or people are honest and don't steal stuff. Give me a break about 40% of the people we see loose or break their phones are very responsible.
on the other hand people that love the newest technology on the market are usually willing to pay for the device and take very good care of them.. Just look at apple users. they pay really good money for their computers but all the ...
Re: Great idea!!
I couldnt find a lot on the company but I was able to find there website.
http://www.rentobile.com/
I hope this helps.
By the way I think this is a great idea. I work at a cell phone company that has a program like this. We pay $15.00 a month and swap phones out once a month.
The problem is if something breaks what do you do. does the company eat the cost or does the end user.
Re: Question about the G1
From my understanding and from what I have done programming phones stereo blue-tooth is a hardware piece built into the phone that can be disabled or enabled with software. Video share is completely software related but depending on the camera put into the phone the quality may be very choppy.
Re: Why this is awesome (even with a monthly charge)
Way to waste everyone’s time with that post. Guaranty is proper! It is how you spell it in old English and or the banking system. Also punctuation is for people in the business world which we are not. So next time worry about ummmmm lets say content and not being a douchebag!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Enough punctuation for you???????????????????)
Re: Why this is awesome (even with a monthly charge)
Yes it is better to penetrate building but that doesn't mean it was made nor is it good at doing it. that is why Wilson electronics sell so many antenna's that are to be placed out doors and a cable is to be ran inside.
Well the way it works is by putting a so called modem to your broadband connection that can register up to 5 phones on the network for one low cost. much like a wireless router ...
Why this is awesome (even with a monthly charge)
For all of you who bit ch and complain aboit everything understand where and how cell phones came to be. cell phones are not meant for penetration of buildings but for mobile use outside of brick and mortar. everyone complains about dropped calls and bad reception in there homes but aren't willing to pay $10 dollars a month. give me a break. now you can get rid of your home-phone with a guaranty that the cell will work. do ...
Re: Best fone to hit AT&T
its between a 528 and a 624 from the specs i have seen. the box says 528 but when i contacted samsung they quoted me 624, either way it is super fast, Hope that helps
Re: so this is basically...

Best fone to hit AT&T
this phone is great. as an att employee we see a lot of good phones go to other carriers, but att finally brought an amazing phone on board. what is known to many as the BJ3 the processor is the fastest ATT has seen and the form factor is great. finally another pocket pc phone that is smaller then the tilt!!!
GREAT PHONE
GREAT PHONE
Finally ATT picked up a phone that has a qwerty keyboard not geared towards business consumers. I work for ATT and we have sold almost 30 of these since launch date. PANTECH makes a great product.
The phone has a cool new feature called yellowpages. no more 411 calls.
