Thank you for the reply. I would include apple because apple advertises the "twice as fast, half the price". In fact it is the first page you see when you go to apple.com. Secondly, apple negotiated with at&t to make the phone only available through at&t and will void the warranty if you unlock the phone.

Flat out lie! to buy the phone you must activate a 24 month contract through att, the old iphone coast an additional $20.00 and included 200 text messages per month.
