So, got the white G1 3 days after I ordered it, 4 days later dropped it in water (no, I did not have insurance). Didn't want to post because I was so mad at myself. Was able to get another one a couple days later for the new contract price. I love this phone! Can't stop playing with it and downloading the most fun applications. The only problem I have so far is the battery life. I ...

Customer Service says that they are back ordered, by I should receive mine no later than December 8. We'll see! I'm so excited!!!

Hey, all. I have a question about the navigation available thru google. Does it have the capability to give you turn-by-turn directions with voice? or does it just show you a map like a Thomas Guide would? Thanks in advance, P.

Thanks for the info. I did actually know that the G1 was out in black and bronze. I was asking only about the white one. I do have a follow up: I talked to a tmobile rep on the phone today and he said that the white one will come out before Christmas. I'm so excited. I think that will be my Christmas present from the hubby!

About number 3. I read in an earlier comment from someone that you're supposed to press the camera button just half way first, let it focus and then press it all the way to take the picture. Can you try that and let me know what happens?

Does anyone know how Phone Scoop got a picture of a white G1? I want the phone with that color, but I didn't see it in the store... Thanks in advance.
