Re: Uh Oh
I will always help them with the network issues that they are having, however if I cannot see the phone that they have, (or see any information on it), it is kind of hard to give them any troubleshooting steps.
Lets hope....
That this phone is more flame resistant than the phone it is replacing.
Re: Uh Oh
Thats actually really close to what I wind up saying to them most the time. HAHA
Re: Big Tobacco
I definately agree. However in the eyes of alot of consumers the CTIA looks like the bad guys in this lawsuit. Simply because the way that the law was written was that it was for the health of the consumer. So by suing over that law it makes it look like they are hiding something/putting consumers health in jeapordy to sell devices easier.
PS Totally agree with CTIA, to the fact that the FCC has ...

Man, I would kill to have all those amenities for free. HAHA
Re: That's B.S.
Definitely no need. But if they are just going to use it for piloting other crime sprees while in prison why would they care if getting the cellphone is illegal as well? It just seems like the only way to stop it would be to find some way to blanket just the prisons and not affect other users who are not inside. But until they find a way to do that this law will have to do.
Re: Jamming
Word. I just remember reading about the government trying to pass a law to jam the prisons around Christmas, I think, and then I haven't heard anything about it again. Just wondering if there were any other developments on that idea.
Re: That's B.S.
Any clue what happened to the law they were trying to pass a few months ago that was supposed to block cellphone frequencies in and around prisons making having a mobile device obsolete? Its seems that if they could enact that it would make this law pointless.
Because even though they made mobile devices illegal in the prison it doesn't necessarily mean that it wont still get in. It just seems that blocking the possibility ...
Re: That's B.S.
That actually happened on Gangland. The leader of the Latin Kings had a cellphone snuck into the jail for him and he called from the phone and had the people he knew on the outside kill the guy who had turned him in.
Just got mine.
Just got one yesterday when they came out. The screen on the phone is unbelievable. Really like it. Ill put up more when I've had more time to learn everything on the phone.
Just a thought.
How many divorces will this start or even just marital problems.
Wife: So hun what are you doin?
Husband: Just looking up stuff on the internet.
Wife: I know i see you like midget porn. Its over.
Hahaha. Let the hillarious fights begin.
Re: Samsung Mythic without a data plan?
Sweet deal. Yeah I really like the Samsung touch screen messaging phones I would keep my Eternity if it had more smartphone abilitys but alas it is still a dumbphone. Hope she enjoys the new phone.
One other thing though. You might want to consider picking up the screen covers for her because my Eternity has a tendency to get scratched easily.
Re: Samsung Mythic without a data plan?
The Surge is a smartphone. The Propel and Impression are not. The Propel Pro on the other hand would be a smartphone but I don't think that AT&T is still offering that. Smartphones would have a full HTML browser.
Re: Shouldn't Apple...
I hadn't heard that yet. Thats pretty awesome. Yeah I am definately looking into getting the Captivate. The only thing I am worried about is that in a couple of the reviews I had read that since it is all plastic it feels a little cheap. But the specs are pretty awesome and I have been waiting for AT&T to get a legit Android phone.
Re: Shouldn't Apple...
My only issue would be with the restocking fee. Since there is a known issue that is causing customers to have dropped calls then why would they force the restocking fee on it. If it is the manufactuers issue then they should at least be waiving restocking fees for the returns.
Maybe not for all iPhone 4 customers, because some people still went out and bought the device after hearing about the issue, but at least ...
Re: Memory question
Thats what I have read. It said it would have 16gb internal and then have an expandable memory card slot. I've seen some sites that say it will support a 16GB and other sites that say 32GB so I am not positive on which it will support.
Re: Merger Question
Wouldn't a merger just be another spectrum under the Sprint umbrella that already has to many different technologies? I mean could they really afford to merge with T-Mobile which bring GSM to the table. Because even if it is after LTE it would still be a hybrid technology for all carriers for the next handful of years. It just doesn't seem smart to add GSM to a carrier that already has to sell multiple types of ...
