You do understand that high def channels use a lot of bandwidth?
When you select the HD channel it takes a second or two to switch... thats your cable box telling the provider's server to stream that channel to you, over the same network cable modems run on. I know menno... but I'm looking forward to other improvements to improve what I already have. IF they build the network to sustain LTE data transmissions then existing dated revA's should not be an issue to make unlimited.

I'm all about unlimited. If I can keep my rev A speeds at about 600k-1.2mbits I'd be all about that for the next few years.

The last computer on a cell network before the open world of fiber circuits. Basically all calls going from say Verizon to At&t get routed through this machine. M2M calls only get as far as the switch.

I would be fine with a flat rate charge of $7 per GB used on my phone. That way the price would break even to most plans out there.
I would even include tethering with that.... to start out.
I still like the idea of throttling the usage at first.

Ok so verizon admits it can not handle the upgrade to LTE so it is limiting its usage.... I get it now.
I find it hard to believe that backhaul locations cannot suport unlimited LTE data to these towers.... Ok so mabye they'll have to put in another BSC or switch here and there. Not like its not going to happen in the future. Spend the money now and sell the product instead of being the first to ...

I'm with Verizon now and I liked At&t better. They had better rural coverage in my area, had the BB bold. I now have the Imagio(htc) but have to admit the experience isn't too bad.
At&t ever launches LTE or any kind of 3g or 4g service in my area i'll be going back. Big red isnt bad but I just feel that they nickel and dime me too much.

I just love the fact that they open up faster speeds and technology to us, the consumer, but then slap us on the wrist if we take advantage of those faster speeds. Put everyone back on GPRS type speed and then the data gigs of consumption will stop.

I left At&T due to issues with T-mobile invasion in my area and my phones going sos, went to verizon. I might never go back unless they get something better then edge in the area. Hell by then Verizon will probably have full force LTE up and running.

I like AT&T better. I switched from them to verizon because I can tether at faster speeds at home. I have to say though, their coverage sucks. Internet speeds are ok fast, not impressive nor disapointing.
Att was good price, good service. Both have same quality CC that I have noticed.

Just because it dials into the phone doesnt mean it will be 56k speeds.
Any company that has a program for the desktop avoids dialing into the phone, as the program connects your computer to the network.

Not really, you have to think of it this way. Update/maintain 3g and add new footprint at the same time. They could sit and add more 3g in cities that already had it, but what about the one's that do not.
Clearly this was an acquisition that was smartly chosen. Buy a small company that already has towers, put in new radios, acquire 3G licenses from the FCC and bam your good to go.

No... you have to have the blackberry internet service on your account or you will not have an active account registered with Rim. Its either you have it, or you don't. Reason is BB's internet routes through their own servers.
