LG VX-8500 Chocolate

Which one is better in features? I'm trying to see if the VX 9600 has the same features as the VX 9500? Which should i get according to you guys?

Could someone tell me if the Chocolate comes with its own belt clip with it? Does the phone support the ringback tones (I think they're called...someone calls and they don't hear ringing they hear music) for Verizon?

I was just looking at the VX8600 and I noticed that it had file transfer capabilities through bluetooth.

Just wondering if it is possible to make this work with the 8500? I dont know much about the software of phones but I was just wondering.

Does this phone support transfering music and setting it as your own custom ringtone?

Used chocolate up for trade comprible newer phone would be of interest. Please no motorola phones. The reason I want to trade away the chocolate is because the touch screen just isn't my thing.

I have V04 now and it seems like my battery is dieing out very quickly. For instance, I unplugged it from the charger at about 7:30 this morning and by 3:00 it was powering down due to the battery being dead! I only made a few calls today, wasn't using Bluetooth and am not in or near an EVDO area. Anyone else having this problem?

On the chocolate wen u go to menu and press 0 and then enter the service code of all 0s on the very bottom u have on option of touch keypad option... u can choose 2 options or 3 ooptions. What does that mean?

Which one do you think looks better?
The Black Chocolate, or the White Chocolate? (LG vx8500)

I have black one.. but I'm so jealous of the new White chocolate.. although I haven't seen the real one.
The thing is, I like everything else on black chocolate except for its keypad color. I expected it to be red, but it was white!!! HOW DISAPPOINTING... ☹️

But now, the white chocolate has RED keypad!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

that's the only thing I like about the white one... still I think for the body color itself, black chocolate is better.
What do you guys think? 😉

In receiving shipments this week, I noticed that the VCAST Music Essentials Kits for the LG VX8500 (the chocolate) are now labeled for use with both the LG VX8500 AND the LG VX8600. Must be nearing the release date for the much anticipated flip form of the chocolate.

THIS PHONE (CHOCOLATE) IS ABOUT TO COME OUT IN WHITE, GREEN, AND RED!!!

Recently, I've noticed that while scrolling downwards through my menu, it all of a sudden gets a mind of its own and just constantly scrolls down.

At first I thought I had pushed the touch pad too many times (a buffered event or something) and it would just work out. But now it seems to be random and the only way to stop it is either hitting the 'end' key or sliding down the faceplate or if not open, sliding up and then down the faceplate.

I'm a newbi here, so anything that has been poseted before on this would be a great help!

I am up for an early upgrade and am trying to decide between these 2 phones. Currently I have the VX8100. I am also considering the 8300, which is the upgrade to the 8100, but I think it is very similar to what I already have. I love the 8100, but have had it about a year and half now and want something new.

So from what I've read on the spec, the Chocolate and the KRZR both have very similar features. I looked at both phones in the store today and I must say I like the look of both phones. I definitely like the narrowness of the KRZR compared to the RAZR, but it looks a bit long. The Chocolate looks very sleek. I have always been a big LG fan too.

But I am not sure if I can get used to the touch of the wheel and the small key...

There are new colors for the chocolate! Which includes a white, red, and green. I also found out that there are special editions comming out too.

i absolutely love my phone and today the front cover(the key pad part) got scratched really bad.

i was wondering if i could mail in the phone and repair this.

does anyone know what i can do?

i don't think have any insurance cover plan for this phone. but i'm willing to pay money to repair this.
