Fuzzy Ringtones??

Hey. So I've made a couple ringtones for myself lately, and they sound fine on the computer, but once I send it to my phone they get really fuzzy and hard to hear. Does this happen with everyone?

I use mixxer.com to send the ringtones if that matters.

Thanks,
Jenny

Hey, I just bought the LG VX8500 Chocolate. I have mp3 files saved onto both the phone and the sd card but I can't figure out how to set those mp3 files as my ringtone. Is there a special program or something that I need? Can anyone help me out please? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if you can sync video from your computer to your phone, like you can music. Or does it only play streaming video from vcast?

Connect/Sync Failure

Okay to put it simply, I have the Chocolate and it's been failing to sync/connect with my computer. I have two USB ports and have tried both, so it's not the ports. My brother has a chocolate and I've tried his as well, connect/sync failure too. I installed Music Essentials software and tried to sync. The program itself says that I couldn't find a phone, the phone says that the connection has failed. I've also tried Windows Media Player as well. I doubt it's my USB cable because it's new and I doubt it would be broken.

Any suggestions?

What do I need?

If I wanted to use bitpim, do I need the music essentials kit and a micro sd card? Would it be possible to just put the music on my card and then put the card in my phone or do I need the usb cord?

Telus SPC

A friend of my came accross a chocolate today that doesn't take the standard 6 0's for the spc. It's not a gsm chocolate and the only other cdma carrier outside the US that I know of is Telus. Does somebody know what the default SPC is for Chocolates w/ Telus?

Want to get free ringtones? Read here

This only works if you buy the 20.00 Music Essentials kit from Verizon, or on Ebay or something.

Then follow these steps:

Chocolate Ringtones (Free):

1) Download the (free) Audacity MP3 editor from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

2) If you are going to use Audacity then you will need the plugin for Audacity called Lame that allows you to save your edited mp3 as an mp3 clip. Get Lame here http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/ lame.html

3) Open the MP3 that you want to use as your ringtone. Go to File > Open > (Select MP3)

4) Edit the song anyway you choose

5) Go to File > Export Selection as MP3 (Can only be done with the Lame add on). You will be asked to locate the Lame file

6) Choose the Lame file ...

How do you get MP3's as Ringtones on MicroSD.

I am wondering how you can set your current MP3's on the MicroSD as Ringtones, if you can do that. If you can't does anyone know what format or what program you have to use to downsize the music file in order to put it as ringtones. Thanks ahead of time.

Chocolate for Younger Generation ONLY???

HI! I am looking to get a regular cell phone rather than my motorola Q . I like the Q aside from it going black occasionally and I have to take the battery out (only 4 times in the last 3 months) but I do not use the internet , e-mail or those things so it's a waste.

I went to the Verizon store today and looked at the chocolate. I really liked it but feared that I wouldn't be able to get used to the touch sensor. (also I couldn't decide on which color and they did not have the red available to view). ANYWAY, the woman kept saying that the chocolate was for the younger generation. Then she directed me to the 8600 which I LOVED but it seems a little masculine with all that black.

Any thoughts??

Is it supposed to do that?

I just purchased the white chocolate off of ebay. Its used and the guy did say it had some wear on it, but for some reason to me the slider, once open feels just the slighest bit loose. Like 2 mm movement is possible if not 1.... but its still just something i wasnt sure if it is normal or just that it was used?
