Samsung SGH-T809 / SGH-D820

Does it matter what company you buy the 512 or 1GB from? I see on Ebay they have several different name brands and I was curious as to if it really mattered. The cheaper the better.... I figured no need in spending $60 if I could get something similiar for $20. THANKS. Ya'll are a GREAT help! A whole lot better than my T-Mobile retailer!

Does anyone no if Bluetooth stereo headphones for MP3 cellphones can be used with the Samsung SGH-T809. Headphones such as the BT620s from Jabra, or the HT820 from Motorola, or any others.

I am about to get the T809 today and I have heard about needing to get the 1GB memory. Does anyone know if the phone will actually play through your car stereo system, if so what kind of adapter will I need. THANKS. Also, about how many songs will the phone hold with the memory it comes with?

I currently have a 512 MB transflash and I was thinking of getting a 1 GB transflash. I was searching on ebay and I notice there was a 2 GB transflsh about to come out. Does anyone know if this will work with the t809? Thanks.

do you guys get calls dropped before u even connect (and hear a dialtone) often with this fone ? or is this just an inherent issue with t-mobile service?

im a verizon to tmobile switcher. even with full bars i get calls ended before they even connect .

sometimes dialing 1 before a number works and soemtimes dialing without a 1 before the number helps too when its on a call end marathon.

help???

Does anyone know a way around the limitation within Samsung's PC Studio to download Multimedia Messages from the phone to PC Studio as well as create them in PC Studio and send them?

Any other alternate 3rd party software out there that gives you all the features that PC Studio should?

Okay. I've had my t809 for about 3 months, and i was going nuts trying to figure out a way to make mp3s as ringtones. I've tried gp3 format AND mp4, which are all NOT the same quality and clearness as mp3. So one night out of fustration i came back to this forum and found JDOG's way of doing it. He got mixed replies about this way. Some people got it and some didnt. I eventually figured it out and why others probably didnt get it as well

So Jdog's way goes as the following:

1. Put the mp3 song on your phone
2. Go to incoming call settings
3. Select ringtone to see all available
4. Find song you want as ringtone (do nothing yet)
5. Highlight the selected song
6. Click middle select button to mark song (even though it will not allow...

So is there any downsides to the d820? Like is there something the t809 has that's better then the d820

Can anyone offer some kind of info on how to get my D820 from repeatedly freezing? Here's the scoop. . . .

I'll slide it open and where "Unlock" normally changes to "Menu" . . . it doesn't change. Nothing will get it to work unless I power down and then back on. But once I've turned it back on, it works fine for a couple of hours and then freezes again.

Is this a software issue or what? It's the second handset it's happened with. The first one I returned because I thought it was the handset . . . . the second does the same as the first.

One more thing, there's a blue icon that has now come up to the top left, close to the signal meter. . . my best description would be a siren. I don't see it in the manual. What the hell is it?

I have the Nokia 6101 and it is horrible and so I was thinking about getting this phone and overall the reviews are positive but there has been some bad ones too.
