Does anyone know if/when Palm may release a new Treo 700 - with Palm software instead of Windows?
Given the sad state of most Microsoft software (worms, viruses, bugs, etc...) can we see a new Palm-based Treo 700 anytime soon?

GPS?
First off, can the 700W be used as a good GPS unit (user friendly, streets, "turn left in 500 feet" etc) and if so, what's needed and recommendations?

SD card compatability
Are there any known issues of SD cards not being compatible? Mine sees the card but get an error message when installing programs to the card. Also having trouble freeing up storage memory - i.e. I can delete programs, but how to delete other files.

1) how do i download games- coming from a phone with get it now i need games and ringtones on my phone how do i go about downloading that
2) i pluged the wire into my computer and the other end into my phone and when i try to install it after my computer finds the new hardware it does not work. it coudlnt find the compnets on my comp to download the hardware...what do i do to get that working?? is there a program i need or how do i go about setting that up. please help

Bluetooth Info To Another Phone?
Is it possible? I have several pictures that I would like to send to someone with another Bluetooth phone. When establishing a Bluetooth link to his phone my Treo 700w shows the other phone "wireless service" and I see no way to send the info. Any help please.

Send AOL e-mail with 700W
I have had a Treo 700W for several weeks and I still cannot send an e-mail through the phone with AOL. I can receive e-mail's but cannot reply.
I have spent hours on phone with Verizon and no help.

hard & soft reset
I have the 700W
and recently I put in some 3rd party software that kept crashing my "w"
so I first did a soft reset and now a hard reset
but to me, my 700W is now at a snails pace
very slow meaning
if I tap something, it takes forever to change screens or you can see two screens at the same time while doing so
what can I do to totally make it like new

PDAnet and 700w
Of the people that have used PDAnet, can you please review it. Does it forward calls to voicemail, shut off the itnernet when someone calls, and does it connect bluetooth? Please respond to any and all questions that you can.

my friend said that this phone can have AIM on it. Like the AIM version u can get on windows not the get it now version. How do you get that on your phone. Do your download it onto a miniSD card from ur comp and put it on or can you download it right from the internet expolorer on the phone?? also when you use the aim does it count as texts or is it free?? whts the deal please helpppp

treo 700c?
asurion (insurance provider for the west coast)today told me that they will be sending me a treo 700c in replacement for my 700w that i "dropped in the ocean" during a fishing trip. wtf is a 700c?? or was the lady just trippin.
on a funnier note. asurion also told me that there was a glich in the system so i MIGHT be getting two "700c's" and if that is the case... to send one of them back.

PalmDesktop and Eudora sync vs MS Outlook
My IS dept doesn't support MS Outlook. Yeah I know... bummer, but its a university - what can I say, so I use the PalmDeskTop which is nice and easy and also use Eudora for mail. Eudora btw is not available for Pocket PC...
Does anybody know if there is a way to sync or easily regularly bridge data with these two programs using the Mobile 5.0 platform?
