Lost features

I have somehow managed to loose my audible voice mail and text message reminders. THe phone immediately notifies me when either a voice mail or a text message first arrives, but does not remind me thereafter. Any help greatly appreciated.

Vanished...

I was looking on Verizon's website today to see if the N330 was back or not. Anyway, I went to look at the accessory page because I was curious to see what the holster looked like because of the pop-up mechanism. The phone isn't losted anymore! What is going on here? It's like the phone never existed!! 😲

pop-up screen

i've heard everyone say they love the pop-up screen. I've also heard that the screen doesn't lock in place. does this mean that while i'm holding the phone talking to someone with the screen 'out' the screen may simply slide back in and hang up on whomever i'm talking to?

The darn little information pop up

I just got the phone yesterday, so far so good, except the backlight turns on quite frequently with a popup information box saying either "entering service area" or "leaving service area" Is there anyway to turn this off? If not, that's almost reason enough for me to take it back ☚ī¸

new housing?

Anyone notice any aftermarket housings for the phone? I have the slider now and I'm thinking about getting this, but I'm curious about the housing. My last two phones (SE47 and T720) were both very easy to take apart and I was able to replace the entire housing of each with clear plastic housing.

Anyone know?

Quick Question?

I Know you can set a preloaded ringtone to a contact, but can you use downloaded ones also. Just got the phone so I was just wondering before I purchased any ringtone credits on Git It Now.

Regrets or Problems? PLEASE HELP!

Ok so I need to get rid of my old Samsung phone BAD. I've had it for two years now and its onto its last few days.

Now that this Samsung phone has been out for over a month, does anyone regret buying it? Are there any problems?

The only thing that has been holding me back from buying it is the pop-up screen. I'm worried that its going to stop working or jam up later down the road. Any of you having those problems?

Really its down to this phone or the Motorola E815...two very different phones. I just need a good ol' basic phone that won't fall apart on me.

group ringtones?

is there any way to set ringtones for a group instead of individualy? i have five different "groups" of people in my contacts, and have different ringtones assigned to each of them (one for "parents", one for "school friends", one for "other friends", etc.), but i can't figure out how to change these ringtones without doing it for all of my contacts, individually.

also, while i'm here, i need some sort of case for my phone- it gets really scratched up on the bottom when i leave it in the cell phone holder of my purse (which is just a sheet of vinyl, so it's really not that protective). does anyone know where to get one that looks decent and doesn't cost over 20 bucks?

thanks a lot.

Caller ID with screen down?

The verizon rep near me said that there is no caller ID when the screen is down, this seemed like a really obvious feature for Samsung to leave out and haven't seen anyone complain about it.

So when a call comes in and the phone rings, nothing shows on the screen when its down? Just the time?
