7000 compared to 6100

Just wondering if anyone had the opportunity to make a comparison on both 7000 and 6100, I know you can compare them on phonescoop, but were there any other major differences that could not be described on this website. I heard both phones were good. Also Is the speakerphone on the 6100 worth it.

Speaker

Can you switch to speaker mode when you are in the middle of a conversation or must you engage speaker prior to making or receiving a call?

Missed Call Indicator 6100 vs. 9900

Because my phone is on my desk while I'm "running around" the office, I appreciate a missed call indicator that's easy to see and dependable (having problems with my 9900). Can someone who has this phone tell me a little about this feature on the 6100? Is there a flashing light? Can you see it on the display (for more than a few seconds?) Details appreciated. Thanks

LG VX-6100 vs. LG VX-7000

Both phones look very similar. I see that the 6100 has a speakerphone, which the 7000 does not. Aside from that, can anyone tell me about why one might be better than the other? I have bigger hands, so I typically like bigger keypad. The V60, which I have, has keys which are too small, making it hard to dial a #. I'd love to hear about ergonomics, ease of use, and reception.

Thanks!

Theme colors - yuck, help!

Finding ringtones and wallpapers, our own or commercial ones, is easy. But does anyone know how to find and add-in new "default themes"? The ones offered are generally hideous -- orange, purple, green.

An excellent phone but with a few pitifuyl aesthetic options, themes being among the worse.

Any suggestions?

Voice Mail Reminders?

After you get the alert you set that a voice mail has arrived is there any way to get the phone to play reminders if you didn't hear or away from the phone for the first alert?

Accessories : 6100 vs 6000

I'd appreciate knowing what, if any, accessories are compatible between the VX6000 and the VX6100. I e-mailed LG and received this reply:
"Unfortunately, the accessories for your phone model (the 6100) have not yet been released. We do not have any information regarding the release date for these accessories. Since we do not yet carry the accessories for your phone, we do not have any information regarding the compatibility between the two phones."
So if LG doesn't know, then ....?!?

So far, So good?

Does this phone have any issues so far?

Does it lack any features you would expect?

Has it performed how you would like it to or at least compared to a previous model?

Do you think it's here to stay or just to wet the pallet until the 8000 is released?

Question to someone who has this phone!!!

Hi, I have a quick question to anyone who has the vx 6100 in there hands right now. On the Get It Now thing when u go under gets tones do u have the Modtones DJ site and the sonymusicbox site under get tones or no?? I was just wondering cuz i know the vx6000 does my mom has it and i know when they replaced the cdm 8900 with the 8910 alot of the ringtone sites went straight to the 8910 and no one had to wait for them to be put on the phone so i was wondering if this phone had those 2 sites those are the only 2 sites i like under the gettones. if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it thanks!!! 🙂

Anyone have an idea what the smallest Tri-mode for Verizon is that CAN sync the calendar?

Final proof about 9900!!!!

Ok, I know everyone is doubting what I say about the 9900 so here it is. For the person doubting me that "claims" he works for VZW then you should know this.
I received e-mail from Info2Go which is a VZW newsletter type deal. Here is what it said:

Regular Volume (non-speaker) and Speaker volume

I'm confused on something about the mic's volume (non-speaker). I turned it up all the way and it didn't appear to get the same max volume I get on my old LG 510. When I used the speaker phone on the VX6100 it was great and I didn't need to adjust the volume.

Note: I do use hearing aides (they have volume control), but I have to be careful with feedback (setting aides too high). I do have the option of my aide's t-coil (cuts out all background noise and only hear stuff over the phone) and it worked great. Which is a huge advantage in loud places like airports.

So, why is the speakerphone better than the volume on the phone's regular mic?

I have only used the phone for 24 hrs in anywhere from quiet locations (use regular mic & spe...
